Our goal is to form a virtual yacht club based in the United States, but welcoming members from all around the world. We hope to become a place where skippers, new and old, can make friends and enjoy friendly discussions. Our only requirements are that you sail by the ISAF rules and that you have FUN! We will have club races in all three formats (fleet, team and match) with a variety of different boats. Since the club is in the USA, the races will be set up so that skippers in North American time zones can attend. We hope that our club will earn the respect of the worldwide Virtual Skipper Community as a group of friendly sailors who race hard and often and yet follow the rulebook to the letter. Don't forget to check in the forum for the latest club happenings. You should also introduce yourself if you want to actually join the club |

RC 44 Class Virtual World Championship - A huge congratulations should go to Wayword Boat for brining home the inaugural RC 44 Virtual World Championship presented by VSKFun and co-hosted by AYC and VSK-USA. Over 100 boats registered and a lengthy qualification process saw Wayword, JCM21884, Wilson and ARK Racing selected for the 20 boat final. After four very difficult races Wayword sailed away with a comfortable victory. VSK-USA is now officially the home to multiple world championships, and we look forward to continuing in our casual but competitive racing. Everyone is welcome to visit the site and use most of the resources that are here. All you have to do is register and log in with your ID. A full membership with VSK-USA has it's advantages, though. By reading and agreeing to the Member's Charter and filling out the short form with a little more information about yourself, you will gain access to the clubhouse. That is where we will organize weekly club races and other special events. There will also be more features added as the club grows that will be restricted to full club members. Whether you're a full club member or registered user, please visit the forum to see what the latest news is. Enjoy your stay and I hope to see you all on the water soon. WD |

We are adding more sailing nights! |
|
In the past few months, our membership has continued to grow at a steady rate. Some of the racing in our regular series has become very close and the discussion afterwards has been quite heated. For some people, this is not the recipe for a relaxing evening on the water. It is for that group that we are adding another night of sailing. So mix up a pitcher of your drink of choice and come join the cruising fleet for some more relaxing sailing. We'll be letting the VSK judge make the calls and we'll probably raft off at Alcatraz for a BBQ. Check the forum for more info. Hope to see you there. |
